Bushfire services
Living Rural provides landholders with all of the advice and reporting needed to respond to bushfire planning requirements when building or subdividing in rural and regional Victoria - either on acreage or on the edge of town.
These requirements can include:
-
Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) assessment - to determine the location and construction standards of a dwelling in a Bushfire Prone Area
-
Bushfire Management Statement - to address Council and CFA requirements when building or subdividing in a Bushfire Management Overlay (BMO)
-
Bushfire Management Plan - a detailed map showing how your proposal will meet the requirements under the BMO

You might also need:
-
A Native Vegetation Removal assessment - for any removal required for your dwelling, driveway, septic tank treatment field etc.
-
A Land Management Plan - triggered by a planning overlay to show how the land will be managed for its environmental values or to prevent erosion, manage weeds etc.
I am a qualified ecologist, accredited native vegetation and offset site assessor and trained in planning and construction in bushfire prone areas.
